Cape Cod Salt Water Taffy

How many boxes of salt water taffy can one-girl-stuff in a suitcase, duffle bag, or carry on? I have been gorging on this manna from heaven since I was 2 or 3. Special affinity for; Licorice, Cinnamon, Lemon, Lime, Chocolate, Peppermint, Bubble Gum, Peach and oh who am I kidding. I love ‘em all. When you’re a brat, (as far back as two summers ago) you dump out the box, pick your favorites, hoard them and leave the rest for the slow learners! My niece, Jessica was a bridesmaid this summer “down the Cape,” and Salt Water Taffy was used as the wedding favor; very creative, wish I had been invited, free taffy. The answer is 11 boxes!

I have loved this place for over 40 years. My introduction to art; strolling through quiet, sun-filled Museum galleries and daydreaming inside Fountain Elms, the adjoining historic Proctor family home. Munson-Williams-Proctor evokes the same joy now as it did then, and so for me, it passes the test of time.
